Hi again peoples!  Boy does time fly... well this time I have something to show for it :o)  I've just started sorting out a 'few' photos to upload and have created a few albums for you guys to browse through.  Yippee!  *gives herself a pat on the back*  Man I have a lot of photos!  I'll continue adding pics to the albums as I sort/crop/resize more photos... go to 'all albums' in 'photos' as I don't post all in the photoblog or click http://photo.xanga.com/pendydance/albums/

Zac is a happy little chirpy as his daddy likes to call him, and has just today learned to roll over from his tummy on to his back!  I've just put away a second whole box of clothes he's outgrown - he does it so fast...  He had a lovely time in New Zealand in March meeting family and friends there.  I had a great holiday as well...hadn't realized how tired I'd been after having Zac until I was back in NZ having my food cooked, laundry done, house cleaned, Zac changed/bathed/carried all the time etc.etc.!  It would've been the best apart from the fact that Aaron had work and couldn't come   Anyway, I ended up not going too many places or doing much at all apart from enjoying a very restful 3 weeks and having lots of visitors.  Check out the March album for pics.

A couple of days after we got back to Perth Aaron and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary.  It was soo good to be home.  Missed my Baby so much while in NZ... Aaron is the most amazing man I know and I'm so proud to be his wife :o).  He's such an awesome husband and dad...  Anyway, we've been married over a year now!!  I can't believe how fast it's gone!  So much has happened since our wedding, it's been an amazing journey full of miracles and blessings, from my move over to Perth to giving birth to Zac and everything in between and beyond (new country, new friends, moved twice, I got a job (aged care), got pregnant, got a different job (sewing for a bridal designer), Aaron changed jobs twice, we became parents...and the list goes on - quite a bit to pack into one year don't ya think?!:o)).  We won't have seen most of you since that unforgettable day in March last year, when what was supposed to be a garden wedding ended up under the front porch and surrounding tarpaulins because of the rain...but we remember an awesome day full of wonderful family and friends from all over NZ, Australia, and Malaysia, who made our day just by being there and who also got right into it, gave it their best and helped out in every way possible making our wedding truly a dream come true and one of the happiest days of our lives.  Thank you all so much!!  I'm hoping to upload some of our wedding pictures soon...

Most of our family shots nowadays (if they ever happen) look like the one above - in the face, self portraits.  Otherwise, most of our photo collection is made up of Zac, Zac, and more Zac.  Zac sleeping, Zac laughing, Zac sucking his thumb, Zac trying to sit, Zac at soccer, Zac with dad, Zac with mum........... and oh yeah!  Zac's first tooth!  The privilege of being a firstborn I guess.  Well here he is again... and with that I'll sign off...till next time!

BOO!

Zac1

And.....we're back.  Yes, Zac has grown a lot and is the CUTEST little boy!!  This is his latest shot.  I had a look at it and thought it was time to do another post! Yup...long overdue, but it's going to have to be a short one.  I have lots more pics to upload including one's from Zac's trip to NZ in March to meet my family...(if Carol hasn't already posted them on her site!).  Well, that's it for now, to be continued....

Welcome To Our World Little Zac

IMG_4751On the 17th of January 2007  our beautiful little boy arrived.  We named him Zac, which means 'The Lord has remembered'.  Zac Aaron Pendergrast.  He was born at home at 12.47am, attended by his daddy and two midwives, weighing in at 3.25kgs or about 7.1lbs.  It was quite a surprise he decided to show up when he did as although we knew he could come anytime around then he wasn't 'due' till the 29th and we were told first babies often IMG_4793   arrived late. We were also told to expect a long labour being our first baby and all - another surprise....  The midwives hadn't quite been here two hours when he was born!  It was the most amazing experience!  Three hours earlier even Aaron had no idea he was just about to become a dad... As head of security  for Planetshakers he'd been very busy as it was the opening night.  There had been jokes about how the baby would come during the conference but I don't think anyone actually thought it would happen!

IMG_4788    Well, here are some of Zac's first photos.  Isn't he a cutie?!

IMG_4740 Aunty Carol... The plan was that Carol would deliver the baby, which was the main reason she came over.  Zac would've been the first baby she delivered as a fully qualified midwife. Anyway, she booked her ticket 2 weeks before his due date.......and arrived 16 hours after he was born!!

Well, it's taken me forever to get this site started and now that I've finally done it- with much encouragement from Carol, I hope to continue to update it.  Those of you I haven't been in contact with since moving over to Perth last year (pretty much everyone except my family!), pleeeease forgive me!!  I will try to do better this year but I hope this at least helps us to share a part of our lives with you.

Lots of love,

  Charis.
